Poor Product and Support December 22, 2016
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Canberra, Australia
After about a week and a half of successfully using the SIM in my iPad, it indicated “No Service”. I emailed Mobi support. I received a response within 24 hours. This made a couple of suggestions (turn the iPad off and on again and try selecting a network manually) and asked me what the results were. I responded with the results of following their suggestions and received no further replies. As I was able to conduct other tests (different SIM in the iPad, Mobi SIM in a different device, results of travelling to France from Italy where the problem first occurred, etc.) I received no response to my 5 polite and factual emails. The SIM card remained unusable for the remainder of my trip and I received no more replies from Mobi technical support.

In my experience the product was unreliable, almost useless overall. Mobi technical support were apparently completely disinterested in any support beyond an initial email.

Unfortunately, I could not recommend dealing with this company.

A good choice October 27, 2015

I took 2 Mobi Passport sims to China and for the most part they worked really well. I had difficulty making phone calls, but there were no problems receiving phone calls or sending/receiving SMS messages.  Set up was really simple, as was recharing the SIMS.

Hardly ever works and data expensive October 3, 2015
Reviewer: Howard Lovatt from Balmain, NSW Australia
We used the SIM in Switzerland, France, and UK with little success. It was unreliable at both calling out and calling in and text messages in or out rarely worked. Also the data was expensive, so we couldn't get round the problems using apps like Skype and WhatsApp.

Did not work September 18, 2015

I went to the UK with the sim configured for EU & bought a data pack for it also. It couldn't not get onto any cell network, so waste of time.

Works OK, OS September 13, 2015
Reviewer: Russell McKay from Southbank, Vic Australia
But in Australia setting up the Hotspot for tethering is painful. I needed to email their tech support who did get back to me promptly, but in the end I solved the problem myself. Why the SIM card is set to an Isreal APN is beyond me.
