Great service I got my 2degrees sim very fast and purchased a $20 top up. Once in NZ got a prepaid 1 month plan for about an extra 39 and that was it all up a $80 spend where as it used to cost upwards of $500 using my Aussie telstra number.

Worst Product EVER March 19, 2014
Reviewer: Cameron Day from Huntfield Heights, South Australia Australia
I purchased the SIM plus a phone/data package. The SIM comes with 50megs of data. For those of you who dont know thats the equivalent of 45 minutes surfing the internet. It took me a while to work out why my credit was used in less than a day and I paid for it every day with this inferior product. I got top ups which again would only allow me to use 50 megs worth of data. There were no separate top up data packs. I tried contacting the SIM company and never got a response. For two weeks use it cost me $120 and when I needed it most it ran out of credit. Checking your balance was never accurate so that I couldnt even track it that way. Avoid this product like the plague.

New Zealand sim card January 27, 2014
Reviewer: Rob from HEATHCOTE, NSW Australia
Instructions that came with the card were slightly ambiguous, but once I understood the menu it all worked very well. It has an unusual system where you ring a number and then interact with with a program.
I was pleased that I could interchange the sim with my iPad or phone, and the data stream was faster in NZ than I have with virgin here in oz.
Instructions did not show latest best offers though, which I found on the website and doubled data & free talk time to 1gb & 3 hrs talk in NZ or Oz. Also discovered that 2 degrees offers excellent things if you sign up to manage your account on-line like sharing data with your second sim or a friend. As I had one sim in an iPad & one in a basic phone, I was able to setup the iPad to roll over to the phone data when the first 1gb ran out.
Some places on the south island, like Te Anau, had no coverage though, so I couldn't use data there, but the sim roaming switched to Vodophone so I could still make phone calls.

2degrees limited service January 17, 2014
Reviewer: Nick Tarnay from Shepparton, Vic Australia
I thought buying a sim prior to my trip would save time and effort at the airport. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. The best deal going,if you need a call and data, is the $55 NZ Vodaphone package. Good price and coverage all over.
